Boxes, boxes everywhere

I am spending my second day off trying to pack up the many things in our little apartment. Matt owns a TON of books, and to boot we also have CDs, movies, decorations, etc. that need to find a temporary home in a box so that we aren't making a billion trips between the current apartment and the moving truck.

However, I am taking it easy with the packing so that I am not doing any heavy lifting with this little munchkin growing in my uterus. I am placing the boxes where I want them to be when I am done filling them, and just taking everything to the box rather than lifting after the box is full. I am trying to keep things to where I do just about all of the packing and Matt does the loading since I won't be able to help. I don't want him to feel like he is having to do all of the hard work. After all, moving is a chore.

I had a lovely evening last night with Greg and Kassi Kennedy and their 3-year-old daughter, Anya. Kassi and I have been the best of friends since 4th grade, so it is wonderful to have her so close in Conway. We went to Lilly's Dim Sum Then Some for dinner, and it was everything I hoped it would be, and more.

Kassi taught herself how to knit when she was pregnant with Anya, and gave me a "teach yourself" knitting instructional set and 3 keens of yarn so that I can start knitting for the baby and even go to her yarn nights at the library in Conway. I have already taught myself a few stitches and have developed a rhythm, so I think I will be able to make some nice things.
