It has been almost a week since I have posted anything, but we got a lot accomplished in the very beginning of the week and then I have been biding my time just waiting for my days off from work this weekend.
Like I said, the very beginning of the week was a huge success. We went to Conway on Monday to look for a place to live, and fell in love with the first one that we looked at and put a deposit on it that day. We will be living in a cozy little 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom duplex with a washer and dryer for $475 a month. The neighborhood is in a great part of town, and the neighbors moving into the unit next to ours are another married couple, and the husband will be a professor at Central Baptist College. We definitely hit the jackpot with this one. Moving day will be June 15.
On Tuesday, we went to see my new obstetrician (former gynecologist of mine), and got our first ultrasound. He said that the baby is doing great and has plenty of amniotic fluid, so all of that sounds good to me. I had a bacterial infection for over a month that my former obstetrician was constantly misdiagnosing, but Dr. Johnson was able to tell me exactly what it was and wrote me a prescription that made me feel completely better by the next day. Matt really likes Dr. Johnson a lot too, so that will make these next few months a lot easier for us. Oh yeah, we will be living only 2 minutes away from the hospital, so I consider that pretty lucky.
Our next ultrasound is scheduled for June 14, which is the day before we move. We are both very anxious and excited for the ultrasound (mainly because we will find out the sex then) and our move, but are just trying to get by in the meantime.
I will be posting my ultrasound picture soon and perhaps some pregnancy pictures.
